This is EyeCandy. It’s a home for big industry names, before they’ve become big industry names. These directors make music videos, commercials, short films, social content and everything in between.

MindsEye is excited to welcome Danish talent, Anders Bundgaard, onto its directorial roster.

Anders is a Copenhagen based director shooting commercials bursting with contemporary style, subtle casting and performance and inventive, visual dynamism, indicative of his music-video past.

Prior to directing, Anders was a professional footballer, up until the moment he put pen to paper on his first senior contract, when his knee gave out. The injury left him in need of a dramatic career re-think and with a lot of time to kill, time he spent shooting films. It got him thinking, in his own words, ‘this is so much fun, maybe I can do this forever?’

He quickly established himself on the Danish advertising scene by winning a Eurobest for his work for Interflora before working with brands like SAS, Carlsberg and the Danish Cancer Society.

It wasn’t long before other brands and awards juries started taking note. His 2019 work promoting LEGO’s collaboration with Netflix’s ‘Stranger Things’ picked up a Gold and Silver at the Creative Circle Awards, whilst his Tour De France work for Danish broadcaster TV2 collected two Golds at the ProMax Awards, including for Best Direction. He further picked up the Clio Grand Prix for his work X-Factor Promo, also for TV2.

Mindeye are thrilled to have Anders on board.
