Dugan O’Neal is an award-winning commercial, music video and television director and writer who combines bold, quirky comedy with a deft touch of cinema. Born on the Monterey Peninsula on the central coast of California. The son of a rock-and-roll photographer and modern dancer, and the grandson of famed cartoonist, Frank O’Neal. Dugan grew up playing music, drawing, taking photos and started making sketches as soon as he could pick up his dad’s VHS camera; apparently these films were said to be “genius” by his parents.
Dugan got his start directing music videos for TV on the Radio, Ducksauce, HAIM, The Temper Trap, RY-X, Matt and Kim, Chromeo, The Acid, among many others. He has since helmed campaigns for the likes of Trojan, Belvedere, Bravo, Phillips, Jack Links, McDonalds, KFC, Enterprise and more. He is also currently a writer on the Adult Swim show "Dream Corp LLC" executive produced by John Krasinski and Stephen Merchant Dugan is currently developing his own TV and Film projects as well as curating the internationally “liked” instagram page.
